Community Link

RSL Community Link is an RSL National Remembrance Project dedicated to keeping alive the names, memories and deeds of Australian Service Veterans’ no matter where they served, or when they died. It does this by enabling people of all ages, especially our children, to attend Remembrance Services as the personal representatives of the departed veteran.

The process is that the representative attends remembrance ceremonies proudly wearing a Veterans memorial Plaque which bears the name and basic details of the departed veteran, included a coloured ribbon bar representing the medals and decorations to which the veteran was entitled. The representative also wears a Representative Community Link Card which bears the representatives’ name and his or her relationship to the veteran.

What does it cost?

There is a one off $15.00 cost for the Veterans, Memorial Plaque, and $4.00 for the Representatives Link Card. The metal RSL Community Link Badge is free.
